Kavya comes back as Mohanlal's Heroine !

Kavya Madhavan is making sensational comeback as Mohanlal’s heroine in Joshiy directed Christian Brothers!

Sources close to Kavya says she is very happy to make a comeback in “Joshy sir’s film opposite Lalettan”. Remember her cameo in Twenty:20 was appreciated. Padmapriya will play the role of Mohanlal’s sister in the film which is scripted by Sibi and Udayan.

Tamil ‘Action King’ Arjun will play an important role in the film. The others in this multi starrer are Suresh Gopi and Dileep. The shoot of this film produced by Anoop (Medimix) and Subair is to start from October 28 in Kochi.

Christian Brothers will be shot in one single schedule and likely released in the last week of March 2010, as the big summer release.

Parvathy Omanakuttan in Maadan Kolli

Parvathy Omanakuttan, first Runner-Up of the Miss World 2008 and pride of Kerala is all set to grace the silver screen with Major Ravi’s upcoming Malayalam movie Maadan Kolli. The character that she will essay will be a complex one, a cop during the day and a vampire at night.

Kavya Madhavan who was initially rumored to be making a comeback through Madan kolli as IPS Officer,later clarified that she wouldn’t be doing it.

Prithviraj, who was expected to be the male lead, would not be a part of the project as well. This is because Prithviraj would not be able to provide dates for the film, what with the Mani Ratnam film ‘ Ravana ‘ taking longer that expected.

However, Parvathy Omanakuttan, the Miss India 2008, might make her debut in Malayalam with Major Ravi’s Maadan kolli . From the sound of it, the tall girl seems a perfect cast for the lady cop’s role in ‘Maadan kolli’.

Dileep - Kavya pair is back ?

Latest news was that Kavya Madhavan will be back to Cinema through Major Ravi's horror movie. Finally Kavya decided not to act in that movie. But she would be back on screen through director Joshey's film, Dileep will be the Hero.

The name ‘Valayar Paramashivam’ definitely rings a bell somewhere. We had heard this name in the Dileep-Kavya Madhavan starrer Malayalam movie Runway. Now Dileep is planning to play this title role in the sequel to the very same movie under the direction of the veteran filmmaker Joshy. The movie is being planned as a hilarious action thriller.

Sibi K Thomas and Udhay Krishna will handle the script of this movie. Dileep is known for his right timing of comic punches, added to that an action thriller would be definitely to look out for. Dileep who is currently shooting for Swantham Lekhakan by cinematographer P Sukumar will join the Valayar Paramashivam crew for shooting in the month of January 2010.
