Dileep, Kavya US Stage Show Photos, Stills

Actor Dileep and his troupe did a month-long tour of the US, doing stage shows arranged by Tara Arts Vijayan. Top artists like Salim Kumar, Kalabhavan Mani, Nadir Shah, Kavya Madhavan, Subi, Bhavana, Rimi Tomy and Subi performed 16 shows in various cities like New Jersey, Boston, New York and Florida.

Stage shows by film artists are hugely popular in the US, where there is a huge Malayalee population. The three-hour stage shows usually consist of a comedy skit, mimicry, dance and a few popular songs.

The highlight of this tour was a hilarious skit, Kunjikoonante Adya Rathri, featuring Dileep, Kalabhavan Mani and Kavya Madhavan.

Innale Vare Parayathirunnathu Movie - Kavya Madhavan as College Lecturer

After a fine comeback to filmdom with the hit ‘Pappy Appacha’, the most popular actress of Malayalam, Kavya Madhavan has signed up yet another new film in the lead. Titled as ‘Innale Vare Parayathirunnathu’, the movie will mark the comeback of director Nissar to Mollywood.

The movie will have Kavya as a college teacher who is loved by everyone. Though a campus movie, ‘Innale Vare Parayathirunnathu’ will tell the story of love between two lecturers in the college. B Ravikumar would script this film, which will start its shoot by the end of next month at Kozhikode.

The other cast and crew of the movie are yet to be finalized though the pooja was held last week at the capital city.

Finally Kavya Madhavan Filed for Divorce

Months after she came back to India after parting ways with husband Nischal Chandran, a Kuwait-based banker, Kavya Madhavan has finally filed her divorce papers at the Ernakulam family court.

If sources are to be believed, the ‘En Mana Vaanil’ and ‘Saadhu Miranda’ actress expects that she would get the divorce soon, after which she is planning to concentrate more on what she knows the best, acting in films. “She has already started acting in movies,” sources say.

They add: “Her first film after she walked out the marriage is ‘Pappi Appacha’ with Dileep which has become a super hit. She is also there in ‘Christian Brothers’, which has Mohanlal, Sarath Kumar and Dileep.”

Kavya married Chandran in February 2009 at a grand wedding ceremony attended by who is who of Malayalam film industry. However, she had serious differences with her husband and his family members, following which she returned India.

Bhaktha Janangalude Sradhakku Movie - Priyanandanan directs Kavya Madhavan

National award winning malayalam movie director Priyanandanan had recently been in an art house movie as an actor. Now after his acting assignments, the much accomplished director is back to making films. His new movie will be titled as 'Bhaktha Janangalude Sradhakku', which will have malluwood queen Kavya Madhavan as the heroine. Based on a story by Renjith, the movie will be scripted to suit the screen by P Manoj.

Popular actor Irshad will be the protagonist of the movie which will also feature Jagathy, Suraj, Lal, Bijukuttan, Sreeraaman, Sadhique, Lalu Alex and Nishanath Sagar. This will be the first project from Priyanandanan will such a large number of known popular artists in the frames. To be shot in and around Palakkad, the movie will start its shoot in a couple of months. Priyanandanan would attempt to take a look at the state where Human Gods reign supreme.  Irshad would be Kavya's hero in the film.
