Lokpal is an upcoming Malayalam thriller film directed by Joshiy, produced by Vijayans and S. L. Vimal Kumar, starring Mohanlal and Kavya Madhavan in lead. Mallu Actress Meera Nandan is also doing a pivotal role in this movie. The film revolves against corruption.

The film is going to shoot on location at Cochin. Filming is expected to begin in October 1st 2012. The pooja was held on Monday, 10 September 2012 at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Cochin, India.

After the Mega Blockbuster Malayalam movie Naduvazhikal, released in 1989, here comes yet another Malayalam movie from the team of Mohanlal-Joshiy-SN Swamy. This new movie, titled as Lokpal, will have the magical trio joining after a long gap of about 22 years. This movie name 'Lokpal' is a widely discussed and a popular one, thus making this film one of the most anticipated films in the coming future. This upcoming movie 'Lokpal', scripted by S. N. Swamy and directed by Joshiy, will get produced by S.L. Vimal kumar, Balan Vijayan and M. Vijayakumar, under the banner of Happy & Ruby Cinemas. S. L. Vimal Kumar is the General Secretary of All Kerala Mohanlal Fans Welfare Association, while Vijayans (Balan Vijayan and M. Vijayakumar) are the founders of Happy and Ruby Group. Pradeep Chandran will be the Executive Producer. Just like any other Joshiy-Mohanlal movie, this one too will be a complete entertainer and is expected to be the first release of Mohanlal in 2013

The Superstar Heroine Kavya Madhavan

Malayalam Actress Kavya Madhavan, who is back after a brief gap in movie, seems to be the favourite heroine of the two super stars of mollywood.

She is currently shooting for Bavuttiyude Namathil, scripted by Ranjith and directed by G S Vijayan, with Mammootty as the hero.

The shooting of the film is currently going on at Kozhikode. She will soon be playing the female lead in Lokpal, scripted by S N Swami and directed by Joshiy, with Mohanlal as the hero. The shooting of the film will start later this month.

Meanwhile Kavya is playing the lead in Breaking News, directed by Sudheer. This movie will be released soon.

Bavuttiyude Namathil is a 2013 Malayalam film directed by G. S. Vijayan,produced and written by Ranjith and starring Mammootty, Shankar Ramakrishnan, Kavya Madhavan, Rima Kallingal and Kaniha. The movie scripted by Ranjith was earlier titled as Malabar. Ranjith - Mammootty team's previous movies Kayyop, Palerimanikyam and Pranchiyettan and the saint has enthralled the viewers through the variety in theme which it handled.

The movie Bavuttiyude Namathil will be portraying the life of peoples in Malabar area. Megastar Mammooty will handle the role of a car driver Bapputty, who enjoys life without tension. Shankar Ramakrishnan will do the role as his employer. The movie will depict their life which is being mixed with culture of Malabar. Enormous movies have spring from the background of Malabar. Malabar is one of the historically popular places in Kerala which had been emerging in the epoch even before our independence. This area has been characterizing by the culture, slang, and behavior of people. Muslim communities are crowded in those areas and mostly are popularly known as Malabarees. Kavya Madhavan plays the role of lead heroine in the movie which also stars Rima Kallingal, Kaniha and Remya Nambeeshan in pivotal roles. Upcoming movie Bavuttiyude Namathil also handles such a theme, which portrays the life of people living in Malabar. Malabar is not a single district but consists of northern part of Kerala which mainly includes areas such as Kozhikode.

Kathaveedu New Movie, Kavya with Chackochan

A script is taking shape in the hands of MT Vasudevan Nair titled 'Kathaveedu' and this project will be directed by Sohanlal.

Starring Kunchacko Boban and Kavya Madhavan in the lead, the film will be produced by Jose Thomas. This film will be the adaptation of some heartwarming family stories by MT. The film is still in the nascent stages and would go on floors only by next year.

Meanwhile Biju Menon, Lal, Manoj K Jayan, Mythili and Sarayu would also form an important part of the film.

Kavya has been taking great care in choosing her projects and this story would surely have appealed to her.

Osho Malayalam Movie, Kavya and Biju Menon together again

Biju Menon and Kavya Madhavan have joined hands again after the film 'Gadhama'. The name of their new film is 'Osho'. A.K. Sajan is the director of the film.

Sajan’s earlier venture Asuravithu did not fare well at the box office and he is banking on Osho to reverse the trend.

Sajan says, “I don’t want to reveal too much at this stage but it will be a humorous story and will have Biju as an Osho follower.” The others in the cast include Nedumudi Venu and Jayabharathi.

Bavoottiyude Namathil - Kavya's New film with Mammootty

Dispersing all suspicions, Ranjith has finally revealed the details of his new project with Mammootty. Bavoottiyude Namathil is scripted by Ranjith and directed by G S Vijayan.

Mammootty and Renjith are joining hands for Bavoottiyude Namathil after the box office smash Pranchiyettan and the Saint. Earlier the film was titled Malabar.

Mammootty is donning the role of Bavootty and Kavya Madhvan will be the heroine in Bavoottiyude Namathil. The other cast is to be finalized.

The film is produced by Ranjith under the banner of his Capitol Films. The shoot is expected to begin by the first week of October.
