This is a new theme to the malayalam film industry starring the upcoming superstar Prithviraj and directed by Major Ravi.Kavya's role is that of an IPS officer who investigates a murder case during day time and turns into a blood-thirsty 'yakshi' at night.
According to Major Ravi,this would surely be a challenge for Kavya and only she could do justice to the role, the director said.Prithviraj plays an exorcist, Devadathan Narsimhan, in the movie. Kavya and Prithviraj had starred in 'Ananthabhadram', a film by Santhosh Sivan in the backdrop of black magic.'Maadan Kolli' is scheduled to start shooting in December.
