This project will feature the famous funny song starting with the same lines. The original song which goes like ''Pappy........appacha ..............pappikku appachanodo, ammachiyodo kooduthal sneham'' was sung by later actor Adoor Bhasi in his own style for the movie ‘Mailadumkunnu’. This song will be remixed by Vidyasagar for this new film. ‘Pappy Appacha’, will have Dileep and Innocent, once again as father and son. Kavya may act as Dileep's heroine in this movie, but the news is not yet confirmed officially. The movie expected to start its shoot by December second week will be directed by debutante Mammas.
The lead actor Dileep is also to be seen in another film made by Kavithalaya, which happens to be a famous banner down south.
